If you’re a local resident, business or visitor to Kingsbury or Market Square in Aylesbury, please read on.

We are planning to investing £4.5 million to help improve the quality and usability of both public spaces, and we'd like to hear your views and ideas about it.

The aim is to create a more attractive environment for everyone within these historic, town centre spaces.

The heritage features will be preserved, but there will be a focus on making them more accessible, creating more open space.

The improvements will also look to emphasise Kingsbury as the gateway to the old town, celebrating Aylesbury’s rich heritage as a market town.

Untitled Practice are specialists in public realm architecture and will be working with us on the town’s latest regeneration project. The designs will also follow the principles set out in the recently published Aylesbury Garden Town Masterplan.

The current survey is the first of a number of public engagement opportunities that will take place as the designs develop.

Please visit the project website via the link below, where you can find further details and complete the online survey.

If you would prefer to complete a printed survey, these are available at Aylesbury Library, Walton Street, HP20 1UU.

The survey will close on Wednesday 26 August 2020.
