We would like to hear your views on our proposal for traffic-calming on Rutland Street in High Wycombe.

The proposed traffic-calming structure would be a flat-top road hump. The company that are developing Buckingham House on Desborough Road will fund and construct the road hump.

It will be part of their highway works on Rutland Street, which include:

  • two new access points into the development on Rutland Street
  • upgraded street lighting
  • removing the existing site entrance on Rutland Street
  • narrowing a section of Rutland Street to 5.5 metres to accommodate off-street pay-and-display parking bays
  • extending the existing 'restricted parking zone' further along Rutland Street (subject to a separate consultation process)

This public consultation is part of planning application 16/08306/FUL.

What happens next
