As part of the process of developing planning policies, we have published a Consultation and Adoption Statement (PDF 0.35MB) and how we considered the representations and made changes to the SPD (PDF 0.14MB).
On 10 October 2023, Cabinet approved the Aylesbury Garden Town (AGT1) Supplementary Planning Document for adoption.

Overview
We want your views on the draft Aylesbury Garden Town (AGT1) Supplementary Planning Document.
Supplementary planning documents provide guidance on policies in the adopted local plans in Buckinghamshire and should be read in conjunction with the local plan to which they relate.
They are a material consideration when determining planning applications.
Aylesbury Garden Town - South Aylesbury Masterplan (AGT1) Supplementary Planning Document
This document sets out planning and development guidance for the area identified in the Vale of Aylesbury Local Plan as South Aylesbury, which is located within Stoke Mandeville civil parish. This is a mixed-use allocation and part of the Aylesbury Garden Town.
This masterplan document is intended to guide landowners, developers, the public and the local planning authority in respect of environmental, social, economic and design objectives for the site.
Events to find out more
We are hosting two public drop-in sessions for you to find out more about the proposals. The drop-in sessions will be held on:
- Monday 26 September 2022, from 9am to 2pm
- Tuesday 27 September 2022, from 3pm to 9pm
Both sessions will be held at Stoke Mandeville Stadium (Guttmann Centre), Guttmann Road, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP21 9PP.

What happens next
We will consider the responses we receive and will review the content of the Supplementary Planning Document.
Following any amendments, we will put forward the final draft for adoption as an approved Supplementary Planning Document.
