Douglas Road, Stocklake (A4157) experimental right-turn ban
Overview
We have put in place a trial right-turn ban from Douglas Road (A4157) into Stocklake, Aylesbury.
With a new housing development in the area, we believe this will improve traffic flow and increase road safety.
We are seeking views on this change before we consider whether the arrangement should be made permanent.
Let us have your views by completing the online survey below. Or, you can contact us by:
- email at tfbschemesdelivery@buckscc.gov.uk or
- post to Network Improvement Team, Transport for Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury Vale Area Office, Corrib Industrial Park, Griffin Lane, Aylesbury, Bucks HP19 8BP
Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, we are obliged to make all responses open to public inspection.
What happens next
At the end of the six month consultation period all comments on the trial right-turn ban will be reviewed before a report is written.
The Head of Highways and the Cabinet Member for Transportation will review that report and decide whether or not to make the ban permanent.
Consultees will be informed of the decision once it has been made.
