Stocklake and Broughton Lane, Bierton - Vehicle Access consultation

Overview

We propose to put in place the legal order that prevents motor vehicle access to sections of Stocklake and Broughton Lane in Bierton.

Following the building of new homes in that area, these sections of road have already been closed to motor vehicles. We now need to formalise that new highways layout.

A plan of the road layout can be seen below, and shows that we are referring to the end sections of these two roads, near to the new homes.

A copy of the above plan, draft order and statement of reasons are attached below.

What happens next

We will review all responses to this consultation and prepare a report. The Head of Highways and the Cabinet Member for Transportation will consider the report before making a decision on the proposal.
