Overview

Overview

Buckinghamshire Highways are proposing to correct a 30mph speed limit Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) on a section of Cheddington Road, Pitstone.

We are seeking you views on the proposal.

Background

Cheddington Road is a rural road that spans under the railway bridge to Pitstone. It has resiedntial houses and a farm access point towards the east end of the road in close proximity to the railway bridge. This results in vehicles parking along the road. It has been raised to Buckinghamshire Council that there have been events of vehicles travelling at unsafe speeds along this stretch posing as a risk. For the section between the railway bridge and "Autumn Leaves" there is no street lighting present.
