High Wycombe Highway Code Parking Review

Overview

Buckinghamshire Council is working to resolve and improve parking within High Wycombe. These proposals are designed to maintain highway safety, and will come in various forms.

Many of these proposals will either be new restrictions, or involve amendments to existing restrictions.

We would like to ask you for your views on these proposals.

What Proposals Are We Suggesting

We are proposing to introduce or amend several types of restrictions, which will include (but not limited to) the following:

  1. No Waiting At Any Time (Double Yellow Lines)
  2. No Loading At Any Time
  3. Payment Parking
  4. Good Vehicles Loading Only
  5. Permit Holder Only Bays

We would also be adding another 4 properties to be made entitled to parking permits.

What Happens Next

We will consider all the responses and prepare a report. The Council’s Cabinet Member for Transport will review the report and make a decision about the proposed scheme.
