Osier Way, Buckingham - Waiting restrictions and speed amendment

Overview

Buckinghamshire Highways is proposing to introduce and amend the existing waiting restrictions (double yellow lines), introduce un-restricted bays on Osier Way, serving Swan Business Park and the adjacent residential development under construction.

In addition, we are proposing an amendment to the existing 40mph speed limit to accommodate the new junction serving the northern development, as well as the entrance to the southern development. 

We are asking you for your views on these proposals.

Background

Willow Park is a new development currently being constructed off Osier Way, Buckingham consisting of two sites. The two sites can both be accessed off Osier Way with the northern development also planned to have access via Gawcott Road.

(Figure 1), the location in Buckingham, indirectly provides access onto the A421 Buckingham bypass.

What happens next

We will consider your responses and prepare a report which will be reviewed by the Council Leader, who will then make a decision about the proposals. 

The results of the consultation and the Council's decision will be published on this webpage. Statutory Consultees will be informed of the decision once it has been made, via the website.
