Parking Review - High Wycombe

We are proposing to introduce and amend a number of restrictions within the Town Centre, centering mainly on the following roads:

  • Bull Lane
  • Castle Street
  • Church Square
  • Church Street
  • Corn Market
  • High Street
  • Paul's Row
  • Queens Square
  • White Hart Street
Do you support the amendment of the restrictive hours within the Town Centre Pedestrian Zone on the following roads?

The current restrictions in place are the following:

  • Pedestrian Zone - No Waiting at Any Time, No Loading at Any Time and No Vehicles except for Permit Holders

We are proposing to introduce the following Pedestrian Zone restrictions:

  • No Waiting and Loading at Any Time during the times of 6am - 10.30am and from 3.30pm to 6pm.
  • No Vehicles except Permit Holders 

Please note that Paul's Row is currently a Restricted Zone, and is proposed to form part of a Pedestrian Zone. Blue Badge Holders may be impacted by this proposal. 
Do you support the removal of the Pedestrian Zone on Church Street between Frogmoor and Priory Road?

Please note that the restriction: Double Yellow Lines (No Waiting at Any Time) and Double Blips (No Loading at Any Time) will still be maintained.

Do you support the removal of Goods Vehicles Loading Bays on Church Street and High Street?

Currently, the restriction is as follows:

  • Goods Vehicles Loading Only Monday - Saturday from 6am to 6pm (we are proposing to remove this, and allow all categories of vehicles to park and load/unload during the permitted hours)
  • Goods Vehicles Loading Only Monday - Saturday from 6am to 6pm / No Stopping 6pm - 6am except Taxis (only on High Street)
