Roughwood Lane, Chalfont St Giles, Proposed Prohibition to Motorised Traffic - Statutory Consultation

Overview

It is proposed to prohibit motorised traffic (except for access to off street premises) in Roughwood Lane, Chalfont St Giles.

Roughwood Lane is a single track lane and is not able to cope with the volumes of traffic currently using the road.  It is proposed to continue to allow non-motorised traffic and access to the properties on the road only.

What Happens Next

We are currently considering all the responses and preparing a report. The Council’s Cabinet Member for Transport will review the report and make a decision about the proposed scheme.  This decision is scheduled to take place in January 2025. 

The results of the consultation and the Council’s decision will be published on this webpage. Consultees will be informed of the decision once it has been made, via this webpage and by email/address if contact details have been provided.
