The schemes aimed to encourage residents to undertake more local journeys by foot and by bike this could lead to longer-term benefits that including reduced congestion, improved air quality, improved community cohesion and better public health.

The Proposal

We are therefore proposing to introduce a prohibition the access of motor vehicles on Russet Street, Aylesbury between Gilliflower street, to just before Worcester street.

The restrictions are being proposed to create a quieter environment for pedestrian and cyclist users along Russet Street and Worcester Street.
