South West Chilterns Parking Review - Informal consultation

Overview

We are seeking residents’ views on whether they would support or object to the principle of:

Henley Road, Marlow

• Introduce double yellow line (No waiting at any time) restrictions on Henley Road outside numbers 4 to 6 to deal with inappropriate parking to improve road safety and accessibility.

Oakfield Road, Bourne End

• Removing the limited waiting parking bay and replacing it with double yellow lines (No waiting at any time) outside the CO-OP, to improve road safety, accessibility and parking efficiency.

Wycombe Lane, Wooburn Green

• Introducing double yellow lines (no waiting at any time) and unrestricted parking bays, to deal with inappropriate parking, improve road safety, accessibility and parking efficiency.

At this ‘informal consultation’ stage we are putting forward some questions to determine the level of support. No decision has been made at this point.

We invite residents of Henley Road in Marlow, Oakfield Road in Bourne End and Wycombe Lane in Wooburn Green and the roads around the each of the locations to let us have your views on the proposals.

What happens next

The purpose of this informal consultation is to ascertain what parking problems are present in the above named roads and the results will feed into a feasibility study that will explore the options available to overcome the problems being experienced.

All responses to this informal consultation will be reviewed.

Further consultations will be required in order for a formal decision to be made on any proposed restrictions by the Head of Highways and Cabinet Member.
