The Buckinghamshire Council (Speed Limit) Order 2021 (Amendment No 001) Order 2022

Overview

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 4th of March 2022 Buckinghamshire Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”), in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the 1984 Act”) as amended and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the Act of 2004”) as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984, has made the above titled Order.

The effect of the order is to:

• reduce the speed limit from 60mph to 50mph on the A40 Oxford / Wycombe Road

If you wish to question the validity of this Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders, you may within six weeks from 9th March 2022 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
