The Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Logistics approved the adoption of the Vehicle Removal Policy and the formal decision was recorded on 18 March 2021. A removal and storage contract will now be put in place.
We aim to undertake a fair and transparent approach to the removal of vehicles. This proposed Council Policy sets out in which circumstances we will remove parked vehicles that contravene on-street parking restrictions and take them to a secure vehicle storage facility. These circumstances include:
