Buckinghamshire landowner tree-planting survey

Overview

Buckinghamshire Council logo

We want to hear from you if you have available land and are interested in planting trees to help us meet our Bucks Tree Mission target of planting 543,000 trees - a tree for every resident of Buckinghamshire.

We created the Bucks Tree Mission as part of our Climate Change and Air Quality Strategy.

Our tree planting programme has been established to improve our environment by securing climate benefits, enhancing biodiversity and delivering wider ecosystem services (including improved air quality, flood mitigation and enhanced green space access for our communities).

So far, we've planted over 245,000 trees in new woodlands and on land we own.

We've now expanded the programme to include supporting tree planting on land that we don't own in Buckinghamshire and are encouraging residents, community groups and landowners to plant trees on land that they own or manage.

By completing this survey, you can help us build a picture of how we can encourage and support tree planting across Buckinghamshire by both individuals and organisations.
