2. Proposed addition to the conservation area: A property in Wycombe Lane
The free-standing property in Wycombe Lane is of brick and tile construction, with some contrasting brick detail, also with tall chimneys and roughly symmetrical frontage and decorated timber porch to the rear.
The property is altered, with loss of windows, unsympathetic changes to a former shopfront and addition of a canopy.
Nonetheless, there is sufficient survival for the property to add to the ‘special architectural or historic interest’ of the Conservation Area. The property has surviving features of interest and adds to the architectural diversity of the area.
The property also makes an important townscape contribution as part of the gateway into the centre of Wooburn Green.
