Haddenham – Thame active travel route
Overview
Buckinghamshire Council and Oxfordshire County Council are considering options for a walking, cycling, and wheeling route between Haddenham and Thame, including Haddenham and Thame Parkway Station. Your feedback is important to help inform decisions to be taken by both councils.
There has been a longstanding local desire for a safer and easier route for walking, cycling and wheeling to be provided between Haddenham (including Haddenham & Thame Parkway Station) and Thame.
Buckinghamshire Council and Oxfordshire County Council are together carrying out an assessment to compare different high-level options for a route and understand the challenges involved. This assessment will identify any major problems that that could prevent a route from being delivered, or make it much more expensive or difficult to build.
No preferred option has been selected at this stage or any decisions taken on delivery. We are seeking your views to help inform decision making and the next phase of work.
Events
We are holding two drop-in information events where you can see the options in person and speak to the project team:

- Saturday 14 November, 10am – 3pm, Thame Town Hall (in the Upper Chamber), OX9 3DP
