Gerrards Cross Parking Review 2026

Overview

Buckinghamshire Highways is proposing to introduce a parking restrictions at various location in Gerrards Cross, following a detailed parking assessment undertaken between 2019 and 2022, which was commissioned, led, and fully funded by the Town Council, and a subsequent formal request submitted by the Council in September 2025.

We are proposing the following amendments in Gerrards Cross (Table 1):

Fulmer Way	Increase the waiting period from 1 hour to 2 hours i.e “Limited Waiting 2 hrs No Return Within 4 hrs”
Marsham Way	Removal of the existing “No Waiting at Any Time” restriction (double yellow lines) Introduction of parking with “Limited Waiting 1 hr No Return Within 2 hrs”
	Increase the Limited Waiting period from 1 hour to 2 hours and the no return period from 1 hour to 4 hours i.e “Limited Waiting 2 hrs No Return Within 4 hrs”
	No loading at Any Time (Double Blips – to be effective 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
Bulstrode Way	No loading at Any Time (Double Blips – to be effective 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
	Removal of existing access marking between the parking bays and introduction of “No Waiting at Any Time (Double Yellow Lines – to be effective 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)”
	Adjustments to the extent of parking bays along Bulstrode Way
South Park View	Removal of the existing “No Waiting at Any Time” restriction (double yellow lines)
Vicarage Way	Increase the Limited Waiting period from 1 hour to 2 hours and the no return period from 1 hour to 4 hours i.e “Limited Waiting 2 hrs No Return Within 4 hrs”

What happens next

We will consider these responses and prepare our post - consultation report (known as a Key Decision Report). The Leader will review the report and make a decision about the proposals.

The results of the consultation and the Council's decision will be published on this webpage via 'We Asked, You Said, We Did'. This page will also include a sealed Traffic Regulation Order once we know that these proposals will go ahead.

Statutory Consultees will be informed of the decision once it has been made, via the website.
