Thame Road, Haddenham - Parallel Crossing
Overview

Buckinghamshire Highways are proposing to introduce a raised table crossing (zebra and parallel), convert existing sections of footway to pedestrian and shared use paths, and amend the existing Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) to accommodate the proposed crossing.
We are seeking your views on the above proposals.
Background
Buckinghamshire Highways is proposing to deliver a Parallel Crossing on Thame Road, Haddenham on a raised table, alongside repositioning bus stops, widening and converting short sections of footways for shared use and extending parking restrictions.
This proposal has been developed in partnership with Haddenham Parish Council, who have led on the Haddenham Streetscape Project. Through the Streetscape work and public engagement, it was recommended that a new crossing facility in this location on Thame Road would improve walking and cycling access to Haddenham and Thame Parkway station and provide a traffic calming feature.
