Overview

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 1 April 2022 Buckinghamshire Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”), in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the 1984 Act”) as amended and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the Act of 2004”) as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984, proposes to make the above titled Orders.

The effect of the orders is to introduce movement restrictions which will prohibit any vehicle proceeding in a north-westerly direction in A413 Amersham Road to turn right towards Gerrards Cross golf club as well as prohibit the right turn from central island reserve into A413 Amersham Road northbound traffic.

The reason for proceeding by way of a Traffic Order is to prohibit the right turn manoeuvres from the central reserve in order to address a number of road traffic collisions that have occurred at the junction involving all manoeuvres.

Objections and other representations to the proposals set out above must be made in writing stating the grounds on which they are made and sent to the address below or apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date of publication of this Notice for this purpose.
