Aylesbury Road, Cuddington Traffic-calming and Speed Restrictions consultation

We received a total of 9 responses to this consultation. As a result, we made a slight change to the scheme plan by extending the 30-mph speed limit length up to the junction of Spickett's Lane.
The work was completed in October 2020.
Overview
We would like to hear your views on our proposal to introduce traffic-calming and speed restrictions on Aylesbury Road, Cuddington. We believe this will benefit the local community by reducing the speed of vehicles approaching the village.
This statutory consultation proposes the following changes.
- a traffic-calming build-out near to the Spickett's Lane junction
- extension of the 30 mph speed limit to the Spickett’s Lane junction
- reduction of the 50 mph speed limit section of the road to 30 mph

What happens next
We will review all responses to this consultation and prepare a report. The report will be considered by the Head of Highways and the Cabinet Member for Transportation before they make a decision on the proposal.
