Tibbs Road, Haddenham - Waiting Restrictions

Overview

Buckinghamshire Highways are again seeking your views on proposing to introduce some 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions (double yellow lines) on Tibbs Road, Haddenham.

We are proposing the waiting restrictions to encourage compliance with the Highway Code Rule 243 and create a safer environment for pedestrians and road users.

A previous consultation in November 2021 took place, with a decision to proceed being made in April 2023. However, agreement from the developer to install the restrictions was only made in December 2025.

Under Section 16 of The Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996, a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) has to be made within two years of the proposals first being made public.

Therefore, a new consultation is required to be undertaken.
