Countywide Disabled Bays and Parking Restrictions

Overview

We want to hear your views on our proposal to introduce new disabled parking bays and various parking restrictions across Buckinghamshire. We would also like to hear your views on the proposed amendments to existing parking restrictions and their implementation for locations in Denham, Gerrards Cross and Wendover.

Background and Our Aims

As part of the our commitment to accommodate residents with disabilities on our roads, we are seeking your views on the introduction of disabled bays outside residential properties to assist a Blue Badge Holder with parking near their home.

We are proposing to introduce disabled parking bays in the following locations:

Amersham Burnham Fulmer Iver Heath Princes Risborough
Aylesbury Chesham Gerrards Cross Long Crendon Taplow
Beaconsfield Drayton Parslow Hedgerley Marlow Wendover
Buckingham Flackwell Heath High Wycombe Pitstone

We are also seeking your views on a proposed amendment of existing parking restrictions, and their implementation of:

  • Double Yellow Lines (No Waiting At Any Time),
  • Limited Waiting Monday - Saturday 8am - 6pm maximum stay 2 hours No return within 4 hours,
  • Permit Holders Monday - Saturday 8am - 6pm (Zone GC2) and
  • Unrestricted Bays

These are proposed in the following locations:
